5 Simple Habits That Will Make You Happier

All us know that it is needed to work out and follow healthy eating to be in good shape. But how many people really put effort to be happier?

Did you know that happiness also requires training and implementing some habits into daily life? Today we will talk about some of them:

• Gratitude Journal.

I can talk hours about the power of being thankful for the opportunities we have and moments which happen in our lives. It’s about our ability to notice all of these things. During the times when you feel depressed and lack of motivation, gratitude journal can help you so much. Just write 5 things you are thankful for daily. It shouldn’t be necessarily something big. You can be thankful for a beautiful walk after your work, a cup of coffee, meeting with the friend or just being healthy!

• Visualize your dreams.

Dreaming helps us to understand our goals better, be motivated to work harder and most importantly enjoy the process.

At the end of the day, happiness is about small things, not only big achievements!

• Feel the moment.

Most of people are always busy with either analyzing their past or worrying about their future. And what if we just relax a bit and start enjoying the moment!

• Forgive yourself and others for the past.

Blaming yourself or others is the most destructive feeling ever. While we blame, we put responsibility out of our shoulders and as a result don’t feel control of our lives.

I totally understand, sometimes there are reasons for that. And maybe your present isn’t the way you want to see it because of some past event. But you know what? We cannot change the past, so let’s put the future into our hands!

• Affirmations.

Affirmations describe a desired situation and goal. These are basically statements which help us to be positive about our lives. Once we constantly read them, we start concentrate our minds on positive things.

To make it easy for you, we already prepared beautiful affirmations for you! Just download here, put them as a cover photo for mobile devices and read 5 times a day.

Success! You're on the list.

My Trip to Louvre, Abu Dhabi

Louvre is one of the most popular and well know gallery around the world. Now it is located not only in Paris but Abu Dhabi as well. It was on my list for quite some time and finally, I got the chance to visit it. Honestly, it was impressive to see it, such a stunning architecture and location. Great spot for some fashion photography since its designed in ultra-modern style. Plus the whole gallery surrounded by water which makes it even more incredible. Of course, the one in Paris holds more artworks but the art selection in the Abu Dhabi branch is great as well. I think to see everything inside you will need at least 4 hours. I will definitely recommend to all my friends and consider this place as a must-see for tourists.

Royal Bruch at Thiptara in The Palace Downtown, Dubai

In Thiptara, the food is a piece of art, and the delicious taste – its soul. The splash of colors, vibrant taste and the coziness of the restaurant makes it so special and unique. Definitely, a Must Visit if you live or visiting Dubai. This time, I wanted to experience Friday brunch at Thiptara with my family.

Place & Specialty

Thiptara is located in Downtown Dubai in a 5-star hotel, Palace Downtown. Once you enter you will see a beautiful lobby and a gorgeous privet garden. The restaurant is done in a modern style with some Thai details. The whole experience getting even better once you realize that you are in the middle of the world-famous dancing fountain, plus you get the best view on Burj Khalifa and calming fire around. Super romantic during the evening and great for family lunch during the day.

Thiptara brunch is based on a sharing concept with the set menu where you can reorder as many dishes as you like. So no need to fight if you like something so much. However, there are two options for the set menu, with or without alcohol. If you got with alcohol, you can enjoy unlimited wine, beer, and cocktails. For a nonalcohol set, there are wonderful Thai ice-teas and delicious mocktails. The food experience was unbelievably good, the best Asian delicacies that you can find in Dubai. My parents tried Thai cuisine for the first time and they absolutely loved it. No doubts they would love to come back to Thiptara again during their next travel.

I absolutely recommend trying brunch at Thiptara with your family to get unforgettable and beautiful experience. Or it is also a wonderful place for a special occasion with your beloved one. The Trip to Formentera Island, Spain

Formentera island is the Carribean of Europe. The reason many people called it this way because of incredibly blue/turquoise color of water around the island. Plus, it has tropical white sand beaches.

Sea Water and Beaches

The easiest way to get to this paradise is by taking a boat from Ibiza. The ride will be for around 30 min to an hour. From so many beaches to choose from in Formentera, I decided to explore most of them during the trip, Playa Levante, Playa de Illetas, and etc. After all, the island is quite small. So I rented a bicycle and enjoyed a lovely day riding it around. It was so much fun. Plus, with a bike, it took just 15 min to get to the top of the island to Playa de Illetas, and by walk, it would take 45 min. You can rent any vehicle like bicycle, motorcycle, car and even quadricycle. Just little note that with some of them there are restricted areas. Also, if you are lucky enough to have a yacht, you can go around this island and park it next to any beach you would like and swim in turquoise water. Before coming to Formentera I heard a rumor that it is a nudist island, so I was a little worry how the trip will go. I wouldn’t be that comfortable laying around naked people. Happily, it was just a rumor and I haven’t bumped into any of such people and enjoyed my day at 100%. Water was very fresh and the sun was so warm on my skin.

Entertainment and Food

The main activities on this island is just rest, chill, enjoing the sun and lay on the beach. Plus you can have nice meal and tropical cocktails. Thera are some bars and restaurant to choose from but friend of mine recomened to visit Juan y Andrea. It is superpopular place and you deffinitly need areservation during a pick season. The restaurant was packed and lots os people where waiting to get in. Since I was alone they let me have my meal at the bar. Usually I would get angry at host but in that sircumsances I was greatful to try their food at least in this way. My meal was delicios and cocktail so refreshing. Deffinitly recoment to visit Juan y Andrea, if you are coming to Formentera.

Hope my review would be helpful for those who are planing the trip. Please if you have any questions, leave the comments bellow. Last but not least, check it out my YouTube video about the trip.

Delicious Georgian Food in Moscow, Lari Restaurant

Georgian cuisine is very popular in Russian for its simple yet delicious food. Typical recipes include all kind of kebabs, khachapuri, vegies salads, and khinkali (almost like Russian pelmeni, Usbek manti or Chinese dim sum). My favorite Georgian restaurant in Moscow is Lari and all my friend who tried it they love it as well.

Here in Lari, I would definitely recommend trying Georgian salad, eggplant rolls with walnuts, home salted salmon, Megrelski khachapuri, khinkali with pork and chicken kebabs (shashlik). These are my favorites dishes; however, everything I ever tried at Lari was super yummy.

The ambiance inside is very cozy with comfy sofas, soft light, and friendly staff. You will be always welcomed with the smile here and served the best food that restaurant can offer. Moreover, the location is quite convenient, being in the downtown just next to the sport complex Olempiysky.

So if you are in Moscow is a must to try it. I went to many Georgian restaurants and it is by far the best here. Plus, I doubt that you will ever find out about it in the tourists brochures as Lari has so many clients they don’t even advertise. Most of you know that the best way to find out about great places is to ask locals. I can guaranty you will love it.

  • Location: Schepkina 33, downtown Moscow, Russia
  • Parking: city parking but always some places available around
  • Service: excellent, food prepared fast, people working are very nice
  • Prices: $$, very reasonable, you can get huge meal just for $20
  • Food: so so delicious and simple, you will get out full and happy
  • My rating: 10/10

Things to Do in Forte Dei Marmi, Italy

Forte Dei Marmi is a lovely village on the coast of Italy.  The place is popular among the tourists who like to spend relaxing vacation on the beach. The nature and climate in Forte Dei Marmi are quite nice. However, the sea is not so hot as in some tropical islands. Since it is one of my favorite cities in Italy, I decided to share the top of my favorite activities over here.

  1. Enjoy the Beach – this activity is in the top of the list of people who stays at Forte Dei Marmi. Here you can become a member of famous beach clubs for the summer which will allow you to use their facilities for the whole season.
  2. Have Seafood Meal by The Sea – there are lots of restaurants on the coast so you can choose the most appealing to you. My favorite one is Bistrot, however; there are lots of them. So let me know what else you discovered.
  3. Have a Lovely Bike Ride – in Forte Dei Marmi one of other top popular activity is to ride the bike. Majority of people go with it to the beach, around this cute little town and even for dinners, forgetting the stress of the cars and traffic back home.
  4. Go for Delicious Aperitif – Italian culture suggests that people should have some aperitifs before starting their dinner. So have fun and explore some popular cocktails like Negroni and Aperol Spritz.
  5. Explore Italian Cuisine – Italian food is one of the most delicious so just relax and enjoy your evening sitting outside, on some beautiful street in downtown. There is lots of seafood choices as well as Tuscan meet selections.
  6. Become More Strong with Sport – besides riding the bike you can always go for a run, play volleyball on the beach and many other activities you usually enjoy doing.
  7. Have Fabulous Walk on The Beach – the beach is so huge in Forte that it will take you quite some time to reach from the beginning to the end of it. You will burn lots of calories, breath with clean oxygen and just feel yourself happy. Water is purely magical as it takes away the stress and gives us the power to do great things.
  8. Go Party After Sunset – Forte Dei Marmi is famous for great beach parties. You can try, for example, Twiga, Nikki Beach, and The Beach Club. Party on the open air is the true vacation fun.

Top 7 Wonderful Places to Visit in Tuscany, Italy

  1. Florence

Florence or Firenze as local say is a wonderful city full of vibes, shopping stores, and restaurants. Here you will find all top boutiques such as Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and etc., as well as mass market shops as Zara, Bershka, H&M and etc. So in other words – a shopping paradise. Besides, Florence has lots of cultural spots to visit as museums, galleries, churches, and theaters. Don’t forget the local trend to go for aperitifs before dinner. I recommend trying Westin Excelsior by the river or Cafe Gilli on Piazza della Republica. Note, that after a lunch majority of restaurants and some shops are closed for fiesta till the diner.

    2.  Fote Dei Marmi, Versilia

Forte Dei Marmi is located on the seaside; therefore, here you will find lots of beach clubs, the famous ones for sunbath are Nikki Beach, Twiga, Beach Club, and Gilda. The first three are also famous for parties at night. Also, there is a free access to the beach for those who don’t want to pay for the sunbed or get a club membership. The thing I like the most in Forte Dei Marmi is that almost everyone rides a bike even to have a dinner at the restaurant. The weather is pleasant and the roads are perfect that I enjoy as well cycling around Forte. Also, this city is a top pick among rich Russians so you will see lots of well-dressed people and best boutiques in this little village. Once you get hungry there are lots to choose from. For the dinner, my personal favorites are Bistrot, Al BocconcinoTwiga, and Nikki Beach.

3.  Siena

This is a very unusual city made of stones, while walking around is very unlikely you will see trees growing around. Siena is so different and so charming, that should be definitely on your to visit list. Besides, the city is famous for horse racing which happens twice a year, Palio di Siena. If you want to experience this world-famous event come here on 2 of July or 15 of August but book your hotel a couple of months in advance as it gets really really crowded. After you see Siena around, in the evening, I would recommend one very lovely and very old Italian restaurant for dinner Osteria le Logge.

  4.  Monterosso, Cinque Terre

Monterosso is a very tiny city located on a cliff by the sea. You will see lots of colorful houses located right on the rocks and strong vawes that trying to crash those rokes every minute. Take some jacket with you because it is a very windy spot of Italy. A half day is more than enough to go around and enjoy Monterosso but it is a must visit. For food, there is not much to try, I guess just Nessun Dorma, the cafe on the top of the rock would be a great option because the view.

  5.  Portovenere, Cinque Terre

Portovenere is located right on the coast and has beautiful yacht bay. Here you will see lovely colorful houses and enjoy beautiful warm sea breath. The other side of the city is surrounded by rocks, lots of amazing spots to get gorgeus photos. To me, it is a perfect place to get a glass of Tuscan wine. My personal favorite restaurant here is Le Bocche.

  6.  Montecatini

This vallage, I just love for its simplicity. I stayed one week here and it made me feel like home. Everything you would posibly need is in the walking distance. Montecatini is famous for its thermal waters. You can get a ticket and try some of them in the morning from 8 till 12. Also, there are three super great restaurants that you should visit La Cascina (amazing terrace and beutiful garden), Osteria di Poneta (true Tuscan pasta with top quality meat) and Fishing Lab (delicious Mediterraneanan bites). Don’t forget to make a reservation if you are comming for dinner. Moreover, in Montecatini, there is a place with the best Italian ice cream/gelato located right on the corner of Grand Hotel & La Pace. I insist that you try it.

  7.  Pisa

Last but not least, you have to make a quick stop at Pisa just for photos with famous Pisa Tower. I wouldn’t recommend to stay, eat or even have a coffee there, because the city in itself is not as beautiful as the rest of Tuscany. A couple of hours is more than enouph. Be creative and have fun with Pisa Tower, would love if you tag me.

My 3 Favorite Restaurants in London for French Toast

French Toast is one of my favorite breakfast of all times especially if I am in London or Dubai. In Russia, I don’t usually order them because we have other fun options as pancakes and cottage cheese dishes. But during my last trip to London, I had a very important mission to fulfill, to find the best french toast in town.  Of course, there are so many restaurants and I didn’t have a chance to try all of them. Nevertheless, I was lucky enough to find a couple of great ones. Hope it will be a useful little guide for those who are also in love with this delicious breakfast.

  1. Duck & Waffle

I know people supposed to come for Duck&Waffle dish to this restaurant but honestly, I think the best dish on the menu, it’s a French Toast. Although they call it differently, TORREJAS and recommend to share it. If I go there again, I skip the main and order just this with a cup of coffee or tea plus I’m going to share my French Toast with nobody. Don’t get me wrong, the other things I tried were good but French Toast there is something really amazing.

  • Name – on the menu TORREJAS (Serves Two)
  • Price £16 (to share the price is great but not the dessert)

      2. Four Seasons on Park Lane

I discovered this dish at the Four Season actually by pure luck. I was sitting in the hotel lobby with a friend of mine and having tea, then I felt for something sweet but nothing was appealing to me on the menu. Then talking to a waitress she asked me, What usually do you like to eat for sweets? As a joke, I answered a French Toast. She said we can make it, you are in a 5-star hotel, the no answer doesn’t exist here. So they made a French Toast just for me and honestly it was one of the best ever. Definitely coming back on my next trip.

  • Name – French Toast, it is off the menu but just ask for it
  • Price £14 (not sure exactly because I paid together with a tea £17)

      3. Aubaine

My all time favorite restaurant for breakfasts and brunches is Aubaine. Living in Dubai, I used to go there quite often. So to keep up with a tradition I decided to try it in London as well. They always do excellent French Toast although lately they try to modify and make it more interesting as French Toast Croissant with banana and bacon or French Toast Croissant with mix berries. Do not order these modifications, I personally didn’t like it. Just ask them to do off the menu traditional way with berries and maple syrup.

  • Name – French Toast ask for classic one
  • Price – £11.5

Let me know if you also a French Toast fun and if you know other great places to try it. I also learn from you.

Terme di Montecatini Health Retreat, Italy

One of the best trips that I have ever done was to a small village in Tuscany, Montecatini. I came there with my best friend to become more beautiful, skinny and healthy. If fact, among Russian and Ukranian community there is a trend to go to Thermal Waters for health retreat. We heard lots of amazing stories about the water in Montecatini so were desperate to try it for ourselves. The first day of our trip we went to Terme di Montecatini where we got a proper prescription from a doctor on how to drink this water. We decided to have a full course for 6 days but it is allowed to even buy it for a day. It depends on your personal tolerance to such treatments. The prescription can be done in any language, for some reason doctor gave us Russian one.

  1. 250 ml of Regina warm, drink in 3 min while walking
  2. 250 ml of Regina mixed, drink in 5 min while walking
  3. Wait 5 minutes
  4. 500 ml of Tettuccio room temperature, drink in 20 min while walking
  5. After 20 min breakfast, starting with warm tea or warm coffee with milk
  6. At 4 or 5 pm, I could also have o.5 l of Rinfresco for 40 min while sitting

Every day we had to take Regina and Tettuccio on empty stomach between 8:30-12:00. The taste of them was a little salty expessially, Regina. They also had Leopoldina water which wasn’t prescribed to us but we tried a little just for fun. Honestly speaking, it smelled like a sewage, really bad. The others were much easier to swallow. Morning waters we had to drink while walking so we visited each corner of a park around. Really beautiful place, I could call it Tuscan paradise.

Morning waters we had to drink while walking so we visited each corner of a park around. Really beautiful place, I could call it Tuscan paradise. The architecture of Terme di Montecatini is just magnificent not to talk about nature. Plus they play lovely live music every morning. The place reminded me of one scene in the movie The Duchess. In fact, I really felt myself like a duchess there, I bet many important and royal people were coming to this place for many years.

So the most intresting part of this health reatreat, the results. Does it or it doesn’t work? Frankly speaking, I haven’t loose any weight. Nevertheless, I guess because I was eating nonstop all italian delicious food and all gelatos of Tuscany. But my skin became magicly clear and more beautiful. After a month, I really feel that the water cleaned some of the toxins from my body. Taking into cosidereation that I was going to cosmetolagist for many months and couldn’t solve some skin problem, I consider Montecatini water really helped.

Last but not least, the cost of this lovely treatment was around € 100  for 6 days including doctor consultation. Moreover, you can rent a glass for € 2 which is refundable once you give the glass back. At the end of the course, I also bought face cream for skin balance made with this magical water so hopefully, soon I will do a review on it.

Asado at The Palace Downtown, Dubai

Asado is Argentinian restaurant located in the heart of Dubai and specializes in top quality meat. In fact, it is one of the best places to get a great steak. I have been there three times and always my experiences were wonderful. I tried there almost everything grilled seafood platter, grilled meat platter, and different starters. Asado has a great variety of dishes on the menu, so you will definitely find your favorite one. However, if you are planning to visit this place, I would personally recommend ordering grilled meat platter to share. It is my favorite there which comes with a mix of the best meat such as rib eye, goat, chicken, and many others. Extremely delicious, plus they put it on top of the hot coals so it stays warm for a long time. Last time, me and my friend got so full and honestly, couldn’t finish it all. Besides amazing food, they do excellent cocktails at Asado. I tried a couple of them, it was just perfect with the food and lovely Dubai weather. Last but not least, when you sit on the terrace you can see a beautiful fountain and Burj Khalifa right in front of you. Spectacular experience to have it.

  • Location – Asado, The Palace Downtown, Dubai
  • Cuisine – Argentinian
  • Food quality – excellent
  • Food Presentation – great
  • Service – excellent
  • Ambiance – very cozy inside and beautiful terrace
  • Parking – free valet parking at Palace hotel
  • Price – $$$$
  • Overall Experience – ★★★★★

Uilliam’s on Patriarchy Lake, Moscow

A couple of months back a friend of mine introduced me to a wonderful restaurant calls Uilliam’s. It is located at the most fashionable and cool spot in Moscow, Patriarchy Lake. In fact, a majority of the best Moscow restaurants for young generation is there. From the first time that I tried Uilliam’s, I liked it so much. They have a very small menu but everything full of creativity and excellent ingredients. Here you will try dishes that you won’t try in any other place. The restaurant inside is quite small and you might feel sitting super close to each other but in my opinion, this is what it makes so cozy. Perfect to spend cold days in such a warm and lovely ambiance. Besides, delicious main menu, Uilliam’s serves excellent breakfasts. From all people that I know everyone loved this restaurant, except one vegan girl. But would make sense because they cook what they cook and it is impossible to tailor on the go some unique dishes. Personally, I have been there for around 10 times and always enjoy my food and time at Uilliam’s. Last but not least, for those who just getting to know me and my blog, I write only about things that I really think it worth to try. Of course, everyone has personal preferences but in general, I love to recommend my favorite places.

  • Location – Moscow, Patriarchy Lake, Uilliam’s
  • Cuisine – contemporary
  • Food quality – excellent, everything is super fresh
  • Food Presentation – excellent
  • Service – excellent
  • Ambiance – cozy and unique
  • Parking – no valet so might be complicated to find a spot on the street
  • Price – $$$$
  • Overall Experience – ★★★★★

Louis Vuitton Event Spring’17, Moscow

I always love Louis Vuitton events and was so happy to join my favorite brand this spring for the launch of Cruise Collection for Men. Everything was happening at LV suit on top of the 4 floor LV shop in GUM on the Red Square. Spectacular place with chic design. The event in itself was in a playful format with lots of champagne and whiskey. There were two games about sailing, first to create a secret letter using sailing symbols and second was about learning how to do different types of knots. I had really so much fun. I must say, LV marketing department did a great job. In fact, comparing with LV events that I have been in Dubai, here creativity was on the next level. Since it was cruise collecting, all clothes had lots of sailing elements and casual design. I feel it would be perfect for men who love to spend time on yacht and boat.

Restaurant Valenok by Novikov Group, Moscow

Novikov Group owns one of the best restaurants in Moscow as well as grows internationally in other cosmopolitan cities. Each restaurant by this group has a unique concept,  beautiful design, and excellent food. Therefore, when the new one opened, I run to try it. Valenok quickly became a very trendy place between different generations and incomes. The concept of this place is contemporary Russian cuisine with good prices and nice ambiance. Here you can get a set menu for business lunch as well as a la carte menu with a big variety of Russian dishes.

If you are traveling to Moscow on a budget then come during work days between 12 pm and 4 pm, you will be pleasantly surprised that you can get a starter, main course and a drink just for 380 rub ($6.5). I honestly never seen lower prices in fancy restaurants for excellent quality food. Plus, everyday set are changing and it is always a surprise for guests. For those with a bigger budget and specific food preferences, you will definitely find lots of nice dishes in the main menu. I went there a couple of times and everything I tried was fresh and delicious. For example, last time I had sald with calmares, red caviar and glass of wine. I believe for all of these, I paid around 2,000 rub ($34) .

So if you want to take a grasp of traditional Russian cousine, Valenok would be a soft start. To have a real caltural exchange soon I will share with you other wonderfull places to visit. Last but not least, the name of the restaurant, valenok came from traditional Russian boot made of wool. Nowadays, people don’t wear them much but you still can see valenki in some villages or in souvenir stores.

  • Location – Valenok on Tzvetnoy Blvd., Moscow
  • Cuisine – Russian
  • Food quality – excellent, open kitchen and fresh ingredients
  • Food Presentation – all dishes were looking delicious, especially cakes
  • Service – great, all waiters very polite and knowledgeable
  • Ambiance – cozy with modern design
  • Parking – for clients very convenient parking next to restaurant
  • Price – $6.5 for business lunch, other time average bill $30-50
  • Overall Experience – ★★★★★

Valenok – Russian traditional boot

Wine Tasting at Caudal, Moscow

I always wanted to be a wine expert or at least understand the differents between them. Once, I even tried to look for some courses on the internet but I found only something for barmen which were way too expensive for my little interest to be a good wine shopper. Luckily, a friend of mine invited me at Caudal shop for wine testing. It was a small class between four friends with two bottles of wine. In this setting, an expert of Caudal store gave us lots of information about wines and taught us how to distinguish differences between them.

That evening we were talking about and tasting white wines, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. For me it was such an interesting experience as I am really into red wines. So I got to know the sides of wines I never tasted. I guess if it is chosen well both white and red can be quite pleasant. The most interesting fact I learned that all wines are actually white from a very beginning. The step on which wine becomes red it is when skin and seeds of grapes been processed and added to the wine. Therefore, an end product can have different shades of red and yellowish. Our first wine, Sauvignon Blanc was with apple notes more fruity and yellowish compared to Riesling. Riesling had a stronger smell, some people refer to it sometime as the petrol smell or other unpleasant scenes. Nevertheless, both were excellent and change their flavors with each sip. Here are few tips on what to pay attention when tasting the wine,

  • take the glass and look at the color of the wine, it has to be clear with either ruby color or canary shades
  • then smell the wine, pay attention on notes you feel
  • take a sip but don’t swallow, move the wine around your mouth for a couple of seconds

This will help you to learn more about wines and its differences while your drinking this wonderfully mysterious beverage. Last but not least, at the end of this fun experience we got each a membership card at Caudal shop with 8 free wine tasting. I guess with such membership I would definitely become an expert on the subject.

FUME Restaurant, Dubai

img_8021FUME is one of the most popular restaurants in Dubai. There you can find plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  For any taste and diet there is a solution, plus the chef can tailor some of the dishes to your taste. I have been in FUME for around 6 times, two in the downtown branch and four in Pier 7, Dubai Marina. It is not a Michelin starred food experience, rather a great place to gather with friends. My favorite menu there is for breakfast as it offers great healthy choices. However, I know many people love to come there after work to get a glass of wine or beer. For a lunch, I personally have a mixed feeling about the food. Some dishes I like and some I wouldn’t order it again. But in general, I am super picky with the food and also, my Russian origin can play some role in my food preferences.

Regarding the service, I also have a comment. One time in FUME Pier 7 I was treated rather rude than polite by some British lady when I wanted to sit at a specific table. The restaurant was almost empty and she was trying to give the worst table ever. Maybe that lady just had a bad day, after all we all have such days but with such experience, I didn’t want to go there for many months. So I hope it was an exception rather than their daily way of dealing with customers.  Of course, if you come as a press you will be treated excellent everywhere, that is why I like to come as a simple customer to see a true quality of food and service.

Moving on, the interior there is quite nice and different. The place has many modern details, true character and lots of day light. Aw… almost forgot to mention about gorgeous view of the yacht bay and lovely water channel. In conclusion, FUME restaurant is a great simple place to come with a big group of friends and have some fun. If you tried this restaurant already, let me know about your experiences, I would love to know your opinion about it.

  • Location – Fume Pier 7 & Downtown Dubai
  • Cuisine – British
  • Food quality – great for breakfast and snacks, the rest was nothing special
  • Food Presentation – simple food with little decorations
  • Service – average, sometimes excellent sometimes rude
  • Ambiance – nice and cozy place
  • Parking – very convenient and easy
  • Price – $$$
  • Overall Experience – ★★★★☆

ZOCO, Mexacan Food in Dubai

I like Mexican cuisine but for many years I couldn’t find a good restaurant in Dubai. Luckily, I came across ZOCO and would like to share my experience with you. ZOCO located close to downtown in Habtoor city next to new water channel, in between St. Regis Dubai and W hotel on Sheikh Zaid Rd. I heard many nice things about the place and was really excited. I decided to go for a branch so I can try many dishes in a relaxed ambiance and enjoy my weekend. When I entered I saw a very nice interior, cozy atmosphere, and friendly employees. For the branch, they have a set menu so you just come and relax without thinking what to order. Besides, the waiter asked about my food preferences and allergies. During the meal, there was Spanish live music with very fun energetic songs. The food started to arrive very quick, of course it was famous guacamole with nachos, tacos, burittos and etc. For the main course, I got dishes with nachos, fajitas, and other things. At the end of the meal in ZOCO you get a tray with the variety of different sweets, donats and in-house made ice-cream. The full branch menu I uploaded below. Even thought the restaunat position itself as a street food concept, the place has a feel of relaxing fine dinning. Last but not least, all employees working in ZOCO are super friendly, nice and professional. I deffinitly recoment to put ZOCO in your Dubai “to do” list, you will definitely enjoy it.
