The new hot lounge in Dubai, Flair No 5 which located in Ritz-Carlton DIFC. A super cool place to spend time with your friends, especially with their new concept of the Wonderland Party every Monday. Here you can relax after your work with delicious food, easy-going ambience and great DJ sets. The place works till 2 am so hope you are the lucky one who doesn’t need to work on Tuesday. In both cases, Flair No 5 is a great spot to catch up with friends and have a fun time. Plus you can come any other day as well.
The food is excellent, everything super high-quality and delicious of course. In the menu, you will surely find something you will like with lots of sharing options. The decor of Flair No 5 done in a New York style, very spacious and with lots of nice sofa lounges. In the middle, there is also a bar for those who just came for drinks or waiting to get sited. The only drawback you may have is the weather. The whole restaurant is located outdoor and there is no ACs nor heaters. So make sure you chose a good day to visit. For me, I wasn’t that lucky as the weather was a bit hot but I bet within a couple of weeks would be awesome during November and till March.
One of my favorite places in Dubai for great food and night out is Bagatelle. It is located in the beginning of Shaikh Zaid Road, Fairmont Hotel. I have been there so many times and always happy to come back. The concept of the place is to have nice dinner and then party with great DJ set. Since people in Dubai prefer such nights on Thursdays and Fridays, a month ago, Bagatelle launched a new program Jazz Night for Saturdays. Perfect option for those who want to relax and rest before going to work the next morning.
For me, it was the first Jazz Night ever and I had absolutely awesome time. Music was amazing, some song were chilled, some were more dancy but all were really great. I must say, the singer and the whole band does a great job in playing Jazz. Besides as usually, the food in Bagatelle was outstanding. My favorite is the truffle pizza and basically everything else they serve. Really the food is so great and delicious. So I definitely recommend trying Jazz evening at Bagatelle. Just make sure you reserve a table in advance. One more tip, come after nine as the program starts from 9 pm. In fact, the best timing for this restourant is from 22:00-00:00 on Thursday, Friday and even Saturday. I promise you will have a great evening there.
A couple of months back a friend of mine introduced me to a wonderful restaurant calls Uilliam’s. It is located at the most fashionable and cool spot in Moscow, Patriarchy Lake. In fact, a majority of the best Moscow restaurants for young generation is there. From the first time that I tried Uilliam’s, I liked it so much. They have a very small menu but everything full of creativity and excellent ingredients. Here you will try dishes that you won’t try in any other place. The restaurant inside is quite small and you might feel sitting super close to each other but in my opinion, this is what it makes so cozy. Perfect to spend cold days in such a warm and lovely ambiance. Besides, delicious main menu, Uilliam’s serves excellent breakfasts. From all people that I know everyone loved this restaurant, except one vegan girl. But would make sense because they cook what they cook and it is impossible to tailor on the go some unique dishes. Personally, I have been there for around 10 times and always enjoy my food and time at Uilliam’s. Last but not least, for those who just getting to know me and my blog, I write only about things that I really think it worth to try. Of course, everyone has personal preferences but in general, I love to recommend my favorite places.

I like Mexican cuisine but for many years I couldn’t find a good restaurant in Dubai. Luckily, I came across ZOCO and would like to share my experience with you. ZOCO located close to downtown in Habtoor city next to new water channel, in between St. Regis Dubai and W hotel on Sheikh Zaid Rd. I heard many nice things about the place and was really excited. I decided to go for a branch so I can try many dishes in a relaxed ambiance and enjoy my weekend. When I entered I saw a very nice interior, cozy atmosphere, and friendly employees. For the branch, they have a set menu so you just come and relax without thinking what to order. Besides, the waiter asked about my food preferences and allergies. During the meal, there was Spanish live music with very fun energetic songs. The food started to arrive very quick, of course it was famous guacamole with nachos, tacos, burittos and etc. For the main course, I got dishes with nachos, fajitas, and other things. At the end of the meal in ZOCO you get a tray with the variety of different sweets, donats and in-house made ice-cream. The full branch menu I uploaded below. Even thought the restaunat position itself as a street food concept, the place has a feel of relaxing fine dinning. Last but not least, all employees working in ZOCO are super friendly, nice and professional. I deffinitly recoment to put ZOCO in your Dubai “to do” list, you will definitely enjoy it.
Recently I tried a very nice French bistro, Couqley and would like to share my experience with you. The restaurant located in JLT at Movenpick hotel. It is an amazing place to come with a group of friends and have a fun evening. I went there during the day in order to take nice photos but I felt like it more of an evening place. The interior had nice French details although at the first sight I felt the design is similar to a typical British restaurant. The food there was great, I tried a couple starters, main course, and dessert. My favorite dishes were Poêlée de Champignons for a starter and Sea Bass with gilled eggplants on a side as main course. The portions are quite big, you can get full with one course. For the dessert, their specialty is Pain Perdu (almost like a french toast). However, I was so full and just took crème brule and my friend took tart of the day, it was with strawberries. Both were delicious. The crème brule was a great choice as it was very light after a big meal. Last but not least, for me, it is one of the best french restaurants in town so I definitely recomend to try it. Below you can see all photos from my lunch at Couqley French Bistro.

Fish Beach Taverna is the perfect place for those who like to have a relaxing dinner by the beach. The restaurant is located in a 5-star hotel, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi. Interior is done in Mediterranean style with lots of simple elements, it reminded me of a typical Greek village. Also, the sea surrounding creates a vocational touch to it. All dishes I tried, were super delicious and felt it was done with love. I got so cozy there, almost like I came for vacation to my grandmother. Do not dress to empress, if you are planning to visit Fish Beach Taverna. You would feel very comfy and appropriate wearing a simple outfit, like linen dress with flats or wedges. In this charming restaurant, you can be yourself and just enjoy your time and food.

Busaba Eathai is a famous restaurant in London which was recently opened in Dubai. They serve Thai cuisine with traditional and contemporary dishes. I was invited there for a long dinner and food review with around 25 of other bloggers. It was a first time for me to come across this place and quite fun to get to know new people. Employees at Busaba Eathai prepared for us set up menu, as well as before our meal they also asked about our food preferences. For example, some people were vegetarians, some didn’t tolerate spicy food and some preferred extra spicy. So they took care of each and every.
I liked that our meal was done with high-quality ingredients, and was slightly spicy (with a touch of chilly). I don’t tolerate very spicy food so the level they prepared was just perfect. Also, Busaba Eathai has very nice ambience like candles everywhere, relaxing music and a lovely smell of Thai oils. Plus, the interior is great with high-end wooden tables and luxurious minimalistic touch.
In general, I like Asian cuisine and after Busaba Eathai experience I like it even more. They had absolutely great food. All seafood dishes tasted delicious, all meat was done excellent and other feasts were just amazing. After the dinner, I wasn’t even sure what was my favorite because I truly liked everything. I tried a couple of Thai restaurants in Dubai before and in my opinion, Busaba Eathai is one of the best. Last but not least, if you decide to try it, there are free underground parking for 3 hours right next to the restaurant.

Cuisine – Thai
Food quality – excellent, very fresh and exclusive
Food Presentation – everything looked great and yummy
Welcome – very friendly personnel
Service – super nice, fast plus they remember each person preferences
Farzi Café is one of the must visit places in Dubai. It is located in the new area City Walk 2 which is part of the Downtown Dubai. The restaurant specializes in the Contemporary Indian Cuisine so great spot for those who like spicy food. I have to say, I am not a fan of Indian cuisine and spicy food but I heard so much about the place from my friends so when I got an invitation to Farzi Café, I accepted it without a doubt.
I went to the restaurant with two of my other friends and we had one of the nicest food experience in our life. When we entered, we were welcomed by very friendly employees who showed us around and gave us a very nice table. Then our waiter explained the set menu which was prepared for all guests that night. Also, he asked about allergies, food preferences and the level of spiciness we can tolerate. When the food started to arrive we were amazed how cool everything looked. Every dish there had a different presentation with lots of fun things. Below you an see our starters, some veggie tacos, molecular mango and popcorn drink.
Each course and beverage were an experience. The presentation was so beautiful and creative. We tried 6 mocktails, all of them tasted great and looked great. Our food was amazing as well, a bit spicy but delicious. So whatever you order, you will be pleasantly surprised. Besides, in the menu, there are lots of vegetarian, seafood and meat options. Therefore each person will find something to his/her taste. Especially coming the first time, you will have a blast.
Last but not least, our dessert was just unbelievably good. It called Dirt Pile and looked like a soil. When the waiter came with a trowel, we couldn’t stop laughing. Then when I asked, How to Eat It; our waiter said, Just Dig. It was crazy fun digging for delicious dirt desert. In fact, it was chocolate cake crashed into small pieces with an ice cream on the side. Yummy!!!
Location – City Walk 2 near Reel Cinema, Dubai
Cuisine – Modern Indian
Food quality – excellent, everything is fresh and delicious
Service – excellent waiters very friendly and caring
Ambience – beautiful modern decor, high ceiling so not much noise
Price – $$$
Overall Experience – ★★★★★
P.S. A little tip, if you are planning to visit Farzi Café, book your table in advance. Because once I tried to drop by with my friends, hosts (or two guys in the door who supposed to welcome people) were very rude to us and literary kicked us out. So I didn’t have a chance to try anything that night. It is also the way I like to check places before I write about them. Just to drop by to see how people really interact with the customers as well as I ask all my friends about their experience.
The Artisan restaurant was recently opened in Dubai, in the popular area for fine dining DIFC. The place was done as a casual concept of famous 3 Micheline star restaurant in Florence, Enoteca Pinchiorri. As a big fan of Italian cuisine, I went there the week I read about it in the magazine. Once I entered I saw gorgeous interior with unique authentic paintings. Not only its beautiful inside, is very cozy and comfortable as well.
The menu has great choices for meat, seafood, and vegetarian eaters. Also, the cocktail selection is quite incredible. I went there with two friends so we ordered 3 mocktails, 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. All of them were different because we were curious to try everything. When we got our order, I was impressed by food presentation as well as the taste of it. I loved everything we tried, my personal favorites were ice cube lemonade, grilled octopus, seafood pasta, and tiramisu. These are the dishes I will be ordering again and again. But as I said, everything was excellent and delicious.
After a couple of visits, The Artisan became one of my favorite Italian restaurant in Dubai and I am happy to recommend it to all my friends. I think it is a great place to have lunch with friends or to have a dinner during the date night. Try it and share your food experience, would love to know what is your favorite dish at The Artisan Dubai.
