Couqley French Bistro with a Twist

Recently I tried a very nice French bistro, Couqley and would like to share my experience with you. The restaurant located in JLT at Movenpick hotel. It is an amazing place to come with a group of friends and have a fun evening. I went there during the day in order to take nice photos but I felt like it more of an evening place. The interior had nice French details although at the first sight I felt the design is similar to a typical British restaurant. The food there was great, I tried a couple starters,  main course, and dessert. My favorite dishes were Poêlée de Champignons for a starter and Sea Bass with gilled eggplants on a side as main course. The portions are quite big, you can get full with one course. For the dessert, their specialty is Pain Perdu (almost like a french toast). However, I was so full and just took crème brule and my friend took tart of the day, it was with strawberries. Both were delicious. The crème brule was a great choice as it was very light after a big meal. Last but not least, for me, it is one of the best french restaurants in town so I definitely recomend to try it. Below you can see all photos from my lunch at Couqley French Bistro.
